On Friday, July 28th 2017, Coastal Thrills owner Matthew Silvas was fortunate enough to visit the annual OC Fair. The OC Fair has got to be one of the best fairs I've been to. So many attractions followed by 4 roller coasters completes this fair's awesome lineup. So here is my full review of the OC Fair!

So starting off this Fair has 4 roller coasters. All are transportable and have been transported to several state and county fairs all around the country. The first coaster I rode was Wacky worm. It's nothing special since it's your classic Wacky Worm coaster. The second coaster I rode was Big Dipper (pictured above). I honestly was suprised I was able to get the credit since it's a kiddie coaster. We did 6 laps on it and let me tell you, that air time hill pictured above, is actually pretty powerfull, might be the most air I've gotten on a kiddie coaster. Now on to the bigger coasters. The third coaster I rode was Galaxy, a Galaxie model coaster designed by several manufacturers like Zamperla, Pinfari, and S.D.C. The coaster itself was enjoyable, but a bit rough in some areas.

The 4th and final roller coaster I rode that day was Crazy Coaster. A zamperla Wild/Spinning coaster that is a clone of Rajun Cajin at Six Flags America. This coaster was pretty fun, but I perfered Galaxy over this simple because it is more forceful. This was your tipical wild mouse spinning coaster so it was nothing special.

Besides the coasters this Fair has a pretty good collection of flat rides. I was able to get on the Ferris wheel, sky flyer, flyer, zipper, tornado, and the ever disorienting tango, which is basically a Huss top scan with worse restraints and very disorienting transitions. The fair also has two log flume rides that I went on, which were very fun too. Since the accident on the Ohio State Fair's fireball ride happened a week before I went to the fair, their fireball ride was closed like all of the others around the country for investigation.

And let's not mention the amazing food at the OC Fair. They had a lot of crazy creative items like a Krispy Kreme donut burger, fried Twinkies, hot dogs, and pickles. I only got to try the fried pickles and they were very good. Definitely my favorite food I've gotten at a fair and one of the best tasting snacks around. Overall the food is very creative and is a must for anyone who goes to the OC Fair.
I got to hang out with my step cousin and younger sister at the fair which was a lot of fun. I got to see my 4 and 6 year old little cousins perform baile on the Heritage Stage which was very enjoyable and a lot of fun. And most notably, I unexpectedly met Jake Paul and Erika Costell from Team 10 there. Though I don't watch their channel, it was still a great opportunity to meet them and push through the piles of crazy fans to get a pic with the both of them. Very memorable experience for sure.

The OC Fair is so beautiful and I absolutely loved it!

In conclusion, the OC Fair by far is the best Fair I've ever been to. I'd recommend going to it if you live in the area. Great place to go to and hang out!
