Written by Matthew S. I got the chance to go to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk on Tuesday, June 20, 2017. I rode almost everything but one classic ride that stood out to me is the classic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster. Today I will be reviewing this coaster based entirely on my experience.

This is a very old and rickety woodie, having opened in 1924. This coaster runs on Morgan trains but they aren't as bad as most people think. They have no seatbelts and just a lap bar which is kind of sketch but cool. The ride starts off by going in a dark tunnel which is very exciting. then after that kill you go and down the drop. As you go through the course, you realize the coaster has a very rickety and all school field away. The ride is very rough but it's out-of-control feeling is very fun. It's classic coaster feel really disticts this coaster from the rest. You go through many amazing ejector airtime hills that provide great air due to there not being seat belts.

Overrral this is an iconic coaster that you need to come out and ride the Santa Cruz Giant Dipper! I would definitely rate it a 5/10! It isn't the best ride in the world but definitely one worth checking out!
