SANTA CLARA, CA - California's Great America has released their first Halloween Haunt Teaser for the 2017 Season. Halloween Haunt is California's Great America's Halloween Event. Halloween Haunt includes, Mazes, Scarezones, Trick-or-Treating, Skeleton Key rooms, and more. Halloween Haunt started in 2008, and will have its 10th Anniversary this season.

On Sunday, June 18th, 2017. Clayton Lawrence, California's Great America's Manager for talent at Halloween Haunt, leaked a little bit of something NEW for the 10th Anniversary Haunt season.

"DEMON RE-IGNITED!"

So far, no information has been given on this, on Clayton's post he only had 2 tags. "#haunt #tenthanniversary"

Currently this has the Enthusiasts excited, some people think it'll be getting Virtual Reality, some say it'll get its old effects back. After all it has been 41 years since it's open, and over time it has lost it's old effects that it used to have. Some of the effects were lighting in the tunnels, the Waterfall, and the Demon voice! It would make sense for it to get both honestly! Although, adding VR will slow dispatch times really badly, AND they don't have a booth near there to store VR Gear. So maybe it will get refurbished! But I'm leaning toward VR.

So do you want to be at Halloween Haunt for, "Demon Re-Ignited"?

Great America Season Passes can be purchased for as little as 3 easy payments of $23 and are currently available at www.cagreatamerica.com. Upgrading to a Gold Season Pass provides free admission to Halloween Haunt, WinterFest and Gilroy Gardens, free Great America parking and 20 percent off most food and merchandise!

Halloween Haunt opens September 22nd and closes on October 29th, 2017. Halloween Haunt is only open on Weekends however. The park operations are usually, 7pm - 12am, and occasionally, 7pm - 1am.

This is the first of the Halloween Haunt updates, I will write another article once we get another Halloween Haunt Teaser, or we see something being worked on. Until next time, Jacob Harris, Coastal Thrills Representative.
